GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. High School Certificate (HSC)/ A-Level/ equivalent. At least THREE (3) Subject passed with minimum C Grade OR Diploma / equivalent. A diploma or any Equivalent Qualification Recognized by Gorvement of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the university.

    A minimum score of: -
  •  60 in TOEFL IBT (internet-based test), or
  • Band 6.0 in IELTS, or
  • Band 3 in MUET, or
  • 59 in the Pearson Test of English (PTE), or
  • 169 in C1 Advanced (formerly known as Cambridge English: Advanced/CAE), or
  • 169 in C2 Proficiency (formerly known as Cambridge English: Proficiency/CPE).

(Candidates who do not meet the minimum score for any of the language qualifications stated above are required to undergo the Preparatory Intensive English (PIE) programme and achieve MUET Band 3 before commencing their diploma or degree programme.)

  1. Exemption from English Language Requirement (Official Language of Country of Origin / Medium of Instruction at Institution)
  2. International students from countries where English is the official language, or
  3. International students with academic qualifications from institutions where English is used as the full medium of instruction.

Note:
i. Candidates must NOT be physically handicapped which will complicate practical works.
ii. Candidates are NOT color blind

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum C GRADE / Marks 50% / CGPA 2.00 in following three subjects:
• Mathematics
• Two (2) any other subjects related to the field.
