Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering with Honours

PROGRAM INFO


This is a collaboration program between UMP and HsKA University, Germany. Students will be exposed to mechatronic engineering theory as well as hands-on skills to meet the Program Educational Objectives (PEO). The syllabus is tailored in such a way that it suits both Germany and Malaysia accreditation requirement. This programme offers a close collaboration with industries and experts from Germany. At the end of the course, students shall graduate with dual-degree with HsKA Germany certificate and UMP certificate.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
High School Certificate (HSC)/ A-Level/ equivalent. At least THREE (3) Subject passed with minimum C Grade OR Diploma / equivalent. A diploma or any Equivalent Qualification Recognized by Government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the university.
1. A minimum score of: -
500 in TOEFL PBT (paper-based test), or
30–31 in TOEFL IBT (internet-based test), or
Band 4.0 in IELTS, or
Band 3 in MUET, or
36 in the Pearson Test of English (PTE), or
140 in C1 Advanced (formerly known as Cambridge English: Advanced/CAE), or
140 in C2 Proficiency (formerly known as Cambridge English: Proficiency/CPE).
(Candidates who do not meet the minimum score for any of the language qualifications stated above are required to undergo the Preparatory Intensive English (PIE) programme and achieve MUET Band 3 before commencing their diploma or degree programme.)
2. Exemption from English Language Requirement (Official Language of Country of Origin / Medium of Instruction at Institution)
i. International students from countries where English is the official language, or
ii. International students with academic qualifications from institutions where English is used as the full medium of instruction

Note:
i. Candidates must NOT be physically handicapped which will complicate practical works.
ii. Candidates are NOT color blind.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
i.A minimum score of 10 points in A-level,
OR
A minimum of 32 points in IB
ii.Minimum C GRADE in following subjects:
Mathematics
• Two (2) any other subjects related to the field.
